Questions

What are stop words?

Very common words such as “the”, “is”, “and” and “of” that appear in almost every text. Hiding them shows the words that really describe your content.

How is the percentage worked out?

Each word’s count is divided by the total number of words (or phrases) counted, after the filters are applied.

Does it work for Tamil or Hindi text?

Yes — words in any script are counted. The stop-word filter only knows English words, so turn it off for other languages.
