Questions
Why don’t I see a Tamil or Hindi voice?
Voices come from your device. On Windows add them in Settings → Time & language → Speech; on Android install Google Speech Services languages; on iPhone and Mac go to Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices. Then reload this page.
Is my text sent to a server?
This page uses your browser’s built-in Web Speech API. Most voices run on your device; some browsers (such as Chrome’s “Google” voices) may use the browser maker’s online speech service.
Can I download the audio as MP3?
No. Browsers don’t let web pages record the speech output, so the audio can only be played here.
